Your tickets can be accessed through the Web Summit app. The mobile version will be released closer to the event, and the web app can be accessed at ‘my.websumit.com’
Your tickets are in the form of QR codes. Make sure you have your code and a government-issued ID at registration.
A general attendee ticket allows you access to over 1000 talks and workshops, plus access to our after hours events like Night Summit and Pub Summit. You can also use the Web Summit app to contact and chat with other attendees through our app.
An Executive ticket includes all of the above along with access to our VIP networking lounge and an invite to the invite-only speakers dinners. A Chairperson ticket will include all of the above plus access to the Speakers Lounge. For any ticket enquires email email@example.com.
You don’t need a physical ticket to register at our event. Instead, you’ll access your tickets through the Web Summit app.
Just bring the app and a government-approved photo ID, and you’ll be good to go during registration!
You can receive a full refund if you request to cancel your ticket within 14 days of booking. We have a strict no refund policy after this date. If you have secured a complimentary ticket but had already bought a ticket, you are not eligible for a refund. Please see our terms and conditions for more information.
As is stated in the terms and conditions, reselling or otherwise transferring your ticket not in accordance with our terms and conditions will result in it being voided. Where there has been any resale or attempted resale of any tickets (or any other breach of this term), we reserve the right to cancel the relevant tickets with immediate effect. This applies to all tickets including women in tech and open source. You can find more information on this here.
Your invoice for your ticket has been attached to the confirmation email that you received when you made your purchase. Don’t worry if you can’t find it, just send a quick email over to firstname.lastname@example.org and the team will be able to help.
Although we do not engage directly with any embassy, you can request a confirmation letter by signing into your attendee profile on my.websummit.com.
Once signed in, click on your profile picture in the top right corner. You’ll see a drop-down menu with an option to ‘Request confirmation letter’. You will be prompted to fill in your information, which our system will verify after you click submit.

Once registered at the venue, tickets cannot be reassigned or transferred. You can see more in our terms and conditions.
